Shipbuilders Strong | The Morse High School Class of 2020 For Real.
When asked what he was looking forward to the most this spring, Casey noted Senior Reception. Senior Reception is a long standing tradition at Morse, otherwise known as Prom.
The Pep Rally is what he will miss most about being a Shipbuilder, and the familiarity of the old 826 High Street building will be missed most after graduating.
His advice for Underclassmen is to keep up with homework, as it is very important. Even though this unique time in world history has meant 'limbo and isolation' to Casey, he remains reflective as he notes that the most positive thing he has learned from this experience is to “never take school for granted.”
Mrs. Madden was the faculty member that had the greatest influence on Casey while at Morse. As he heads off to Commencement, and then Southern Maine Community College to study Computer Science, I am sure all that he has gained in his years at Morse, and during this spring will fare him well in his future endeavors.
Here's To You, Casey. Thank you for sharing your story with us!
