Shipbuilders Strong | The Morse High School Class of 2020 For Real.
“Choreographing the spring musical and hugging my friends.”
This is what Kayleigh was looking forward to the most this spring as a Senior at Morse.
Kayleigh has been dancing since the 8th grade, and a member of Morse Drama all 4 years of high school.
About being a Shipbuilder, “I will miss the community” says Kayleigh. The Morse family is a tight-knit one, and it's easy to see why missing it is a common thread among the Class of 2020.
The butterfly hallway Morse is what Kayleigh will miss the most about the building at 826 High Street.
For Underclassmen and Future Shipbuilders, Kayleigh advises “don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.” A beautiful dancer and performer, Kayleigh knows too well how to do this, and share her gifts with the world.
The most positive thing she's gained from this unprecedented experience is “how important friendship and family is to me.” I am sure she will miss them very much as she heads off to Skidmore College in the Fall, but have no doubt this will make her visits home all the more sweet. Kayleigh is a kind and loving young woman and has so many gifts to share, I cannot wait to see what she does next.
Thank you for sharing your gifts and story with us.
Here's to You, Kayleigh!
